  1. The Stages of Persecution In regards to the Jews

  2. 1933 • There was a boycott placed against the Jews throughout Germany and other parts of Europe.

  3. 1938 • Kristallnacht took place in this year. • Kristallnacht was when many from the Nazi party and other anti-Semitists ransacked Jewish homes, businesses and synagogues.

  4. 1939 • Jews were required to move to ghettos starting in this year. • Ghettos were sections or districts of a city where the Jews were required to move to. • Often times these cities were walled.

  5. 1942 • The Final Solution was implemented. • It was out in the open at first with mobile killing units following the Germans into Russia. • These unites would gather the Jews from the towns and shoot them in a field. • It later became secret in the form of concentration camps and death camps.
