  3. The Value of ArrowSpan Wireless Mesh Network • Cost - ArrowSpan Outdoor Wireless Mesh Access Points are Low unit price, Industry standard 5GHz and 2.4GHz spectrums, Easily deploy wirelessly. • Time - ArrowSpan Wireless Mesh Access Points can usually be setup and working within a couple of hours. • Speed - ArrowSpan Wireless Mesh Access Points can create backhaul throughput up to 30+Mbps. • Security - ArrowSpan Wireless Mesh Access Points offer a variety of security options; the strongest of which is WPA2 with AES, but also support WPA/TKIP, MAC authentication, and 64.128 bit WEP • Flexibility - ArrowSpan Wireless Mesh Access Points can be located anywhere wireless coverage is required. Durable weatherproof housings with carrier class temperature range assure reliable operation year round.

  4. ArrowSpan Wireless Mesh Network Solutions • Complete Indoor/Outdoor product linecovers full range of mesh network applications for hot zones, campuses, municipalities, warehousing, enterprise offices, small offices, and home deployments • Patent PendingLayer 2.5 design architectureprovides maximum compatibility and user friendly functions • Patent Pending POP mesh routing algorithmprovides high performance and reliable solutions: Auto-configuration, Auto-discovery, Auto-healing, Auto-balancing • Multiple wireless RF design minimizes or eliminates signal interference problems on backhaul and user data wireless networks • GPS:Provides physical location of each MeshAP and simplifies the maintenance task • Single IP Setup for one mesh network (regardless node number). This setup minimizes the complicated IP address setup for each node on the mesh network

  5. Network Network Data Link Data Link Data Packet Physical Physical Management Packet Mesh Network Design Architecture Layer 2Mesh Network design benefits: • Fast packet switching design to minimize latency • Fast speed on QOS and service authentication implementation • Compatible with all existing routers, gateways, access servers Layer 3 design to offer user friendly (HTTP) and standard (SNMP) compliant network management support

  6. Patented POP (Predictable Optimum Path) POP (Predictable Optimum Path) patented routing algorithm generates mesh network structure with smart intelligence • Auto-configuration/discovery:automatically discover and configure interconnect Mesh Link among stations • Auto-healing:automatically resolve various network problems by re-routing mesh link to heal the down station in real time • Non-interference:Multiple wireless RF design minimizes or eliminates signal interference problem on backhaul and user data wireless networks • GPS:Location information of each station for maintenance and enabling physical location related new service

  7. 9. True Multi-Radio Design Cost-effective Dual Radio Backhaul network: • No co-channel interference problem for high performance • Enable high hop count and long distance mesh network deployment • Maintain the same throughput at each node in whole mesh network • Design with cost-effective and in-band hardware to increase product margin • Throughput is 3x TROPOS and 5X Nortel Dual Radio, full-duplex backhaul traffic Single Radio, half-duplex backhaul traffic

  10. Auto & Manual Routing ProtocolPoint-to-point and Point-to-multi-point with one click Flexible Auto and Manual routing protocol capability: • Simple, easy, and convenient MeshAP field installation with auto mesh link routing function • Maximum flexibility of allowing user to specify specific routing path using manual mode Auto Link Manual Link Auto Link

  11. Expanding Hot Spots to Hot Zone • Most Cost effective expansion technology • Fast Return on Investment • Fast deployment Hot Spots Hot Zone

  12. Hop Counts PerformanceExpandability The advantage of a mesh network is the ability to expand Wi-Fi coverage wirelessly. A mesh network with more hops (nodes) from the internet gateway means it is more cost effective to deploy. The Multi-Radio design enables ArrowSpan’s MeshAP solutions to break the traditional 1/n and 1/2 mesh performance rules. The MeshAP solutions can expand much further with more hops (nodes) than the traditional mesh access points. This means cost savings to the service providers, operators, and carriers Mbps (Hop Count) Backhaul Throughput (Mbps)
