  2. Taiwan Taiwan, a marvelous island--appropriately named ‘’Formosa’’ by the Portuguese--is full of beautiful attractions. Today I would like to introduce some of the more popular attractions in Taipei city, the capital of my country.

  3. Taipei 101 Taipei 101, the tallest skyscraper in the world. The top floor is usually open for visitors who can enjoy the breathtaking sunset scenery from high above ground. On Dec. 31, the amazing firework shows in Taipei 101 for celebrating Chinese New Year.

  4. Night Market Taipei is also rich with Taiwanese traditions. The most popular example is the night market, which you can find in many different areas through Taiwan. The traditional dishes are exclusive to Taiwan and are enjoyed by everyone, both locals and foreigners. This is my strongly recommend that tourists from other lands should visit to night market. It’s so different from the US.

  6. Tamsui Tamsui is a smaller city to the north of Taipei that was the center of shipping and commerce in northern Taiwan in the 19th century. The city is still popular with visitors from Taipei and boasts many historical attractions, and is a popular location for viewing the sunset. The most important attractions of this city are: Hongmao Castle, Danshui Old Street, waterfront and Danshui Fisherman’s Wharf.
