Wastewater Operator Training • Program Description • Web-Based (on-line) training • 21 courses available • 35-70 minutes each (min) • Basic Module – all employee • Advanced Module – treatment process specific • Requirements • Complete within 6 months • Entire basic module (7 courses) • Advanced courses applicable to your site

  10. Environmental Coordinator Training Program By: Sylwia LaBudde

  11. Environmental Coordinator Training Program (UL - Pure Safety) UL Pure Safety Training - environmental training and assessment program for certification of facility Environmental Coordinators (EC’s) to a predetermined standard • Mandatory for EC’s and Subsidiary Coordinators • New EC’s must complete Year 1 within 6 months of being hired • Each location has to have a person designated as the EC • Certification is valid for 12 months • 5 Levels – (Year1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, & Year 5) Refer to Element 19 – EC Training Protocol Procedures & Guidelines in Web EMS

  12. Getting Started • Contact the System Administrator (Sylwia LaBudde) to establish an account within 2 weeks of being hired (personnel responsible – IOC ECs) • Required information - name, email, & location • Log into your account: https://ulworkplace.puresafety.com

  13. Access Training • Active training is located on the “Portal”  “Home” page • Both lessons and tests are required

  14. Access Training • Sound options (voice-over narration or no narration) • Click “OK” to begin

  15. Course Navigation • Check on your progress • Navigation (Back, Restart, Pause, Next) – select “Pause” or “X” to exit

  16. Course Navigation Exit anytime – program saves your progress

  17. Site Navigation To select where to go next  “Home”

  18. Retaking Lessons Select the “Completed” tab to retake lessons and/or tests – no limit

  19. Retaking Lessons • On the “Completed” page, you can view all past training • To retake, select either “View Details” or highlight the green folder

  20. Retaking Lessons Select “Review Training” to retake the course

  21. Diplomas • To obtain a copy of your diploma select “Print Diploma” (pdf file-upload into Web EMS) • To print multiple diplomas, select ”Certifications/Diplomas” tab

  22. Printing Multiple Diplomas • In the “Diplomas” tab select “ShowMore”  select “Print All” to print all diplomas • Check the boxes to print one or more  click “Print Selected”

  23. Messages Select “Messages” tab to send an email

  24. Messages • Similar to regular email • Select “Compose Message”

  25. Messages • Start typing a name – the system will complete the address from its database
