  2. Introducing HITA • In 2011 itwasfounded by the Hungarian Government (265/2010. (XI.19.) governmentaldecree) to implement ForeignTradeStrategy • Ministry of National Economy is supervising HITA, this ministry is responsible for the new ForeignTradeStrategy, butit is an independentlyoperatingbudgetaryinstitution • Number of employeesis 150, it had a financialbudget of 12,5 million EUR for 2011 • Headquarters in Budapest, 15 regional offices in Hungary and linked to 61 offices around the world • Main tasks: • Investment promotion: • Incite foreign companies to invest in Hungary, assistance for the whole process • Link the Hungarian SME with investors, help them to be suppliers • Business development: • Encourage Hungarian SMEs to expand their activities on international level (trade promotion) • Internationalization: capital export, facilitate joint ventures, international technical cooperation

Tasks of SWG(Sectoral Working Group – transnational) • Todefinetheexactsector (subsector) at transnational level; • The aim is to check the opportunities of transnational matching, productive networking and sharing of good practices in the clusters organisation andto draft the sector-based partnership agreements/letter of intentforthispurpose; • To be organizedaftertheRegional focus group meetings (RFG) in all countries and share the national experience and view LocalWorking Group (RFG – regional focus group) • Definethesector at regional/national level; • regional clusters, companies, decisionmakers, experts, institutions participate in it; • their aim is to check the opportunities of matching, productive networking and sharing of good practices in the clusters organisation andto give comments the sector-based partnership agreements;

  4. 1st SWG Meeting (Budapest/Hungary, 16.11.2010) • Welcome & meeting objectives • WP4 activities and information of the Budapest partner meeting • Presentation of the participating regions, cluster-activities – 9 partner LP Veneto (I), FVG (I), Molise (I), MRA (SI), ITDH (HU), CPEP (SI), IPE (RO), City of Nis (RS), DUNEA (HR) • Joint development of SWG activities • Cluster manager profile • Planning next SWG Meeting / Timetable • Sharing of good practices in cluster organisations (Hungarian Logistics Cluster) • Individual meetings 

  5. 2nd and 3rd SWG Meeting (Budapest/Hungary 31.01.2012) • Welcome & briefing on meeting objectives • Sharing best practices in clusters organization(Romanian, Hungarian) • Presentation of activities implemented after the 1st SWG – 5 partner MRA (SI), HITA (HU), CPEP (SI), IPE (RO), DUNEA (HR) – Italian and Serbian partner weremissing (-4 partner) • Discussion on the preparation of PEV • Cluster manager profile no timetoprepareit • Transnational agreementletter of intent • Presentation of new ADC website • Summarization of the results

Main outputs of SWGs • Exchange of experience in development and management of clusters, • Identification of clusters / networks / institutions / companies interested in cooperation in transnational ADC network, • Concept of local offices (HITA) • Transnational Logistics ADC letter of intent for agreement The establishment of the ADC Logistics Network - with a letter of intent thatwassigned in Budapest on 23rd of February 2012 - aims to fulfil the expectations and to match the interests for growth of Logistics clusters and company networks, their stakeholders and the companies therein by providing facilities to: • promote tech-transfer for better sharing innovation sources & RTD results • foster the participation in projects financed/co-financed by the EU and by other donors; • create and update a common web platform supporting logistics co-operation (all partners should provide necessary information on a regular basis), which contains information about the recently available exact co-operation opportunities.

  7. Partnering event of logistics • 24 participating organizations from 4 countries (Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Slovenia), exactly 31 persons • 12 institutions signed the Letter of Intent for transnational cooperations: • Regional Development Agency of Dubrovnik Neretva County, DUNEA • Hungarian Investment and Trade Agency • Association for the Development of Logistics and the Economy of the South Great Plain Region • Association of Hungarian Forwarding and Logistic Service Providers • Central European Logistics Cluster • Hungarian Logistics Association • Institute for Economic Forecasting • ITC Oltenia Cluster • Electro-Technical Regional Cluster • Romanian Maritime Cluster • Centre for Promotion of Entrepreneurship Piran • Maribor Development Agency
