Kirk Hamilton) : For primary export sector (coffee, rubber …), For locally consumed productions (cereals, cattle), For livelihood in urban areas. Excessive consumption of land or soil leads to : Depletion of growth And poverty traps = a loss of human capital

Projects that work with the farmers, for the farmers and on their farm (same for pastors) Develop economic analysis : understand, develop, accountability Convince of SLM priorities : elastics model

Kirk Hamilton) Evaluate : rigorous analysis of ongoing experiences in land and soil management : cost/benefits analysis Action : action but for the benefit of the farmers. What % of your funding impacts directly the farmers ? Enlist the stakeholder elites : persuade them that development relies on 4 pillars and budget choices can reflect this with more demand on SLM
