  6. #3 – SIS Discussion Forums • SIS Discussion Forums are the primary source for information not found on the website and documents – sis@iata.org only for questions containing confidential data • Separate website but content copied to the main SIS website • Browse / search on the main website, login / interact on the forums website • Discussions forums for all types of questions – functional, migration, timelines, etc • Read instructions at http://www.iata.org/whatwedo/finance/clearing/sis/Documents/SIS-MOBI-Discussion_Forum_Instructions.pdf SIS-RA44-Migration & More Info Breakout

  7. Help with IS-WEB • Computer Based Training (CBT) – The CBT is a computer application with walkthroughs and exercises which show how to use IS • User Guide – Similar to the CBT, but the User Guide is a reference document which goes into more detail for a particular step • Both the CBT and the User Guide will be function-oriented, and describe screens as part of the bigger picture, e.g., How to Run a Report or How to Reject a Billing. Released in March 2011. • Online Help will be available on each IS-WEB screen and describe each element, form, or button in detail, though not necessarily part of the bigger picture. Released as part of IS-WEB screens. SIS-RA44-Migration & More Info Breakout

  8. Workshops • Global workshops will be organized for early 2011 which will provide for final push into SIS • Goal is to provide in-depth detail on IS solution, IS-WEB screens, business process changes, and system changes • Attendees will need to have a basic level of information – having understood RA44 and reviewed the ISPG SIS-RA44-Migration & More Info Breakout

  9. Your Migration Activities SIS-RA44-Migration & More Info Breakout 9

  10. Signup Guide • Will include details on signing up and migrating to IS • The participation agreement, and how to complete and return it • Entering your profile data • Details on Connectivity & File Testing • Similar to this presentation • Released November 2010 • Addresses (IP addresses, URLs, etc) • Details on contacting IS support • Released March 2011 SIS-RA44-Migration & More Info Breakout

  11. Participation Agreement • The participation agreement must be signed before you log into IS for the first time – even to set up your profile information or to use sandbox • Relatively concise agreement. Will reference the rules in the Revenue Accounting Manual and supplement with sections such as: • Prices & Charging • Data Confidentiality • Like other ICH agreements: • It is a multilateral agreement – not a negotiation • It must be signed by somebody with proper authority • Attachments include info that must be returned – such as initial designated super user • Released November 2010; Must be returned by March 2011 SIS-RA44-Migration & More Info Breakout

  12. Profile Updates • Your profile needs to be completed before go-live – even if you don’t plan to migrate to SIS immediately • Your profile identifies you to migrated participants that will be billing you (location information, contact users, etc) and what types of files you’ll receive from IS • Some information will be pre-populated for you from ICH, ACH, and RA databases • Member codes, legal names, clearing house statuses, contacts (RA, ICH, ACH) • All data will have to be either validated or completed by you • After signup (agreement completed) and before go-live (before end of August 2011), no earlier than May 2011 SIS-RA44-Migration & More Info Breakout

  13. Sandbox • The sandbox will be completely automated and allow you to upload IS format files (IS-IDEC and IS-XML) and receive a validation report, or to download example files (IS-IDEC and IS-XML) • Will return: File passes validation report, or a list of the errors that occurred, in the same format as will be produced in IS after go-live • The sandbox does not allow you to demo other IS-WEB functionality (e.g. reporting or entering transactions) • The validation will be based on your profile (e.g. SMI (clearing house indicator) must be valid) • Available July 2011 for those that signed their agreement and set up their profile and will not be shut down (available after go-live) SIS-RA44-Migration & More Info Breakout

  14. Connectivity Testing • System connection to IS needs to be established for IS files (IS-IDEC, IS-XML) and old IDEC  Needs to be done before go-live, when old IDEC switches to IS (see Migration breakout presentation) • Declare your intentions to SIS Operations team when returning the agreement, or afterwards No participation agreement  No connectivity testing  No (old) IDEC* * After go-live SIS-RA44-Migration & More Info Breakout

  15. Certification Slots & Scheduling • To submit a file (IS-IDEC or IS-XML) after go-live you will need to pass a “test” for that billing category (e.g. Pax Rejections) and certify that you can produce a valid file • Certification is not required for IS-WEB • You will receive 2 or 3 testing slots per category (see Migration presentation) for free • Slots can be scheduled after: • You return your signed agreement, and • Sandbox is opened • You can use sandbox for unlimited testing before your certification slot • Two chances to test the file per slot • You lose a spot if you fail the test twice or miss the appointment • Any additional slots will be charged, and be allocated at a lower priority SIS-RA44-Migration & More Info Breakout

  16. Timelines * Should be completed before go-live, but will be available indefinitely SIS-RA44-Migration & More Info Breakout
