The advantages of dualtraining • Combines education with labour market needs • Educational institutions and companies cooperate • Working experience for young people • Raises attractiveness of education • Companies gain experience in training newcomers • Young people acquire both theory and practice

  6. What can EU do? • Seed funding to cover initial costs to reform or establish dual training systems • Promote mobility of students, in particular in dual training • Measure whether young people use knowledge from their education in their first job.
