  3. Rollover: The user will hear “Learn about Texas symbols” Rollover: The user will hear “The Texas Alphabet” Rollover: The user will hear “Visit a ranch!” (Clicking will open the activity.)

  4. The Texas Alphabet (Home) A B C D E When learner rolls over letter, a photo of something with the beginning letter appearsas well as narration. After all have been rolled over, the user is automatically directed to the quiz. A- Armadillo D - B – boots E - C- cactus

  5. Now, You Try(optional quiz) (Home) (Picture bank here) A B C D E Drag and drop the picture to match it with the correct beginning sound. Correct – “Yee Haw” Incorrect – “Try again” Learner will automatically be redirected home after they correctly answer the quiz.

  6. Texas Symbols (Home) Photos of: • Bluebonnet • Pecan Tree • Mockingbird • Longhorn • Capitol When learner rolls over images, they will hear a brief narration about the symbol such as “The state flower is the bluebonnet.” When the learner has rolled over all images, they will automatically be directed to the quiz.

  7. Now, You Try (optional quiz) (Home) Photo choices here. Click on the state flower. (changes for each symbol) Find the state flower, the bluebonnet. Find the state flower, the bluebonnet. Correct – “Yee Haw” Incorrect – “Try again” Learner will automatically be redirected home after they correctly answer the quiz.

  8. Visit A Ranch (Home) Show video of things around a ranch. Use Photo Story to create a video narration of things found on a ranch. Include at minimum: cattle, horse, ranch, cowboy, lasso, and saddle Navigation: pause, play, fast forward, rewind, stop, full screen

  9. Now, You Try (optional quiz) (Home) Learner will examine a photo and click on items that represent the ranch vocabulary presented in the video that are hidden within the scene. Objects will change appearance (color or size) as they click on them and they will hear the vocabulary word. Find the state flower, the bluebonnet. Click on the lasso! (changes for each vocab word) Find the state flower, the bluebonnet. Learner will automatically be redirected home after they finish the quiz.
