  1. AS BioscopeTM Multiple sampling of your bacteria using an innovative portable respirometer. Bioscope is a portable real-time respirometer that provides Respiration (OUR) measurements in a few minutes (depending on the health of your bacteria and the prevailing load conditions) allowing you to control, monitor and investigate your wastewater treatment plant’s biological secondary treatment. • Bioscope can provide measurements of: • OUR (Oxygen uptake rate) • DO • Temperature • Settlement Ease of transport and use makes Bioscope an invaluable tool for analysing and assisting in optimising your plant operation.

  3. AS BioscopeTM Easy to transport Bioscope is equipped supplied in an ABS plastic transport case for ease of transport from one plant to another. It weighs less than 12 Kg including the case. Just put the Bioscope back in its’ case and it’s ready to go to the next plant!

  5. AS BioscopeTM 1, 2, 3, … OUR, SOUR and SVI! • 1. Put the Bioscope cell in the respiration basin • 2. Let the D.O. and temperature readings stabilize • 3. Close the cell using the handle……. • OUR Measurement begins automatically • Settlement commences when zero DO detected • Put in your %settlement reading and MLSS then you have SVI and SOUR too!

  6. AS BioscopeTM OUR Analysis Real time respiration curve is shown graphically on screen, allowing operator to see the activity in the plant. Dissolved oxygen, temperature and OUR are recorded.

AS BioscopeTM Multiple locations, multiple data sets Bioscope has an in built I-button reader to recognize automatically the different locations where I-buttons have been installed, reading their location from a pre loaded list held in the Bioscope. Just touch the I-button to the Bioscope reader and all recorded data will automatically be recorded for the appropriate location. Locations can also be chosen from a preloaded list, or the site identification entered after sampling has completed from the Touch-screen. Simple site location by using the I-button reader.

AS BioscopeTM Uploading to your AS Bioscope Software Once back in your office or laboratory, extract the memory card where all the sampling data is stored, connect it directly to your PC’s USB port and then use the Bioscope Software to read the data for further analysis and storage All data will be stored in a history file, which can be seen via Bioscope Software. Simple data transfer from meter to software!

  9. BioscopeTM OUR Analysis Screen All data recorded on Bioscope can be viewed once downloaded and check the plant’s performance. The Bioscope software will also automatically calculate the Critical Oxygen Concentration Point if the sample has depleted the DO to zero, and will also allow you to enter a range of other plant variables to allow calculation of SOUR, HRT, SRT, etc. Quick, easy to visualise and understand and automatically calculated results!
