  2. Who is the player? • The player that I’m choosing is Lionel Messi.He was born on June 24 1987. He is 24 years old now. Lionel Messi is from Rosario, Argentina that’s why he plays for Argentina for his national team.

  3. What club, team or country does he/she play for? • Lionel Messi plays for Barcelona team. But for his national team he plays for Argentina. He plays for Argentina because its his National team and he is from this country.

What is the player’s background, how long have they been playing, what positions does he/she play? • Messi has been playing for Barcelona for over 10 years..This is so much that’s why he is a good player right now because he has been practicing a lot with his teammates. His position is a striker which is the right position for him. He has been playing football when he was a kid that’s why he know how to play very well.

  5. What does this player do on the field that makes them so good? (Use Football terminology if possible) eg: Can strike with both feet, puts other players into space etc. • The thing that Lionel Messi does to make him so good is they do a lot of hard work on their training pitch so they can get better to win. All of his teammates love how they play so they can communicate with each other a lot. Which is a really good thing to do.

  6. Why do you enjoy watching this particular player more than others? Give specific examples of great passages of play they have been involved in. (you can use photos or video to help your explanation) I really enjoy watching this player play in matches from the way he plays. He plays fair will all of his teammates. He also gives passes to everyone to make sure that everyone had the chance to kick the ball. If you ask for my opinion I think he is the best of them all.

What are 3 questions you would ask the player if you had a chance to interview them for TV and why? • My three questions that I would ask Lionel Messi if I interviewed him is: Do you enjoy playing with your teammates? Have you been practicing football in other places or at the football pitch only? Why is football your favorite sport? I would like to ask him these three questionsbecause they are the one I would like to ask him in real life instead of researching and finding the answer.
