  2. At the end of this presentation students will be able to know that: What is mesh topology? History Types of mesh topolology Draw backs of mesh topology Applications Conculsion objectives

  3. A mesh network is a network topology in which each node (called a mesh node) relays data for the network. definition

  4. A communication network having two or more paths to any node. A type of networking where each node must not only capture and broadcast its own data, but also serve as a relay for other node, that is ,it must collaborate propagate the data in the net work. Introduction:

  5. In the past decade the Ad hoc Networking paradigm absorbed a lot of research effort. Most of the work is focused on isolated military or specialized civilian application multihop ad hoc networks. Turning ad-hoc networks into a commodity takes a few changes: history

  6. Dendroid(topology): • In mathematics, a Dendron is type of topological space , satisfying the properties . Electronic filter topology: • Electronic filter topology defines electronic filter circuits without taking note ,topologies may be divided into passive and active types. Types of mesh topology:

  7. The more extensive the network, in terms of scope or of physical area, the greater the investment necessary to build it will be, due, among other considerations, to the amount of cabling and the number of hardware ports it will require. For this reason, such networks are uncommon. Because every device must be connected to every other device, installation and reconnection are difficult. The huge bulk of the wiring can often be greater than the available space in the ceiling or under floors can accommodate.[ disadvantage

  8. Point-to-point line configuration makes identification and isolation of faults easy. Messages travel through a dedicated line, directly to the intended recipient; privacy and security are thus enhanced. Should a fault occur in a given link, only those communications between that specific pair of devices sharing the link will be affected. advantage

  9. Wireless mesh network. • Distinct radio node deployments of Wireless Mesh Networking. • BioWeb. • Wireless ad hoc network. • Wireless community network. • Mobile ad hoc network(MANET). • Vehicular ad hoc network . • Intelligent Vehicular AdHocNetwork. applications

  10. Internet access connects individual computer terminals, computers, mobile devices, and computer networks to the Internet, enabling users to access Internet services (for example, email and the World Wide Web). Internet service providers(ISPs) offer Internet access to the public through various technologies that offer a wide range of data signalling rates (speeds). Consumer use of the Internet first became popular through dial-up Internet access in the 1980s and 1990s. By the first decade of the 21st century, many consumers used faster, broadband Internet access technologies. Conclusion:
