  2. Introduction • Intrepid is the Deanery Data Management tool used by 12 out of 14 Deaneries across the Country • All Trusts across NESC (Oxford and Wessex) • Next step is to train Educational supervisors, clinical leads, GP patch staff and other key users www.nesc.nhs.uk

  4. The Interface process – Step 1 The Deanery provides the Trusts with a list of Deanery post numbers for new trainees

  5. The Interface process – Step 2 The Trust verifies the trainees to join the Trust and assigns an ESR post number (recruitment module) in their chosen format (usually same as DPN)

  6. The Interface process – Step 3 An overnight process is run to send the data to Hicom and this is then mapped by Deanery staff to a trainee in post

  8. The Update process To ensure that data is maintained when data is changed on ESR the data will be uploaded into Intrepid via an interface process
