Information about organisation • The school was established in 2007 • A year later, in 2008, the school opened a special educational counselling centre and an afterschool club • In year 2011 the school moved into new premises • At the moment there are 57 children and pupils with autismin the school • 14 children in nursery department (from 3 to 6 yearsold) • 43 pupils in primary school (from 6 to 18) • 287clients in special educational counselling centre (from 18 months to unlimited)

Educationofchildrenwithautism • Children are educated accordingtheSchool educational program, which is based on the State educational program for children with autism. • Children are educated individually according individual educational programme (IEP) • IEP are made by special needs teachers for a period of 3months.

  15. ICT Room We have a special ICT room for IT lessons with various programmes for educational purposes or just for fun. Each computer has access to the Internet. Interactive Whiteboard There is one room equipped with IWB in the school. It is used for whole class lessons or individual teaching.

  22. Specialeducationalcounselling centre • Special educational counselling centre provides differential-diagnostic, counselling and therapeutic services for clients with autism and their families. It was established in 2008 as a part of Private Primary School with Nursery for children with autism. Its services are available for clients of the whole region of East Slovakia. At the moment there are 240 clients in the centreand their number is growing every day.
