Career Exploration: Career Paths There are four types of career paths Spiral- moves to another job at the same level within their career category when they have developed a high level that the job they have now Liner- accepts jobs with increasing responsibility and authority in their career category. Transitory- regularly moves for their existing job to a unrelated job in a different career category. Expert-specializes with one job their entire life
