  4. Recessive • LOWERCASE LETTERS • tt • A trait that is apparent only when two recessive alleles for the same characteristic are inhereted.

  5. Phenotype (WORDS) • What an organisms looks like: • TALL or SHORT • Purple or Green

  6. Genotype (LETTERS) • The inherited combination of alleles • RR, Rr, or rr • Heterozygous- Rr • Homozygous- RR or rr • We write using LETTERS
