1) Hobbies & Activities • Learn your favorite hobbies • Ask others favorite hobbies • Name school members, • Ask “who is she/he?” • Cooperative learning • Games

2) Pinyin & Characters • Know Chinese pronunciation (b, p, m, f …) • Spell correct sounds Yī‘,èr, sān,sì,wǔ (1,2,3,4,5) • Name five tone marks • Study Chinese radicals (roots) • Identify Chinese characters. • 一, 二, 三, 四, 五 (1,2,3,4,5)

3) Numbers & family • How many family members • Name all family members • Age & birthday • Date and time • Number twister

4) Colors & outfits • Colors, red, orange, yellow, green etc. • Outfits, hat, pants, skirts etc. • Combined subjects, red skirt and black shoes. • What is your favorite colors? • Describe “beautiful” to a color.

5) Holidays & Foods (fruits) • Know Chinese Holidays • Find the personal zodiac animal • Name some foods & fruits • Describe foods colors • What are your favorite foods (fruits)
