  9. Intensive Care Units - ICU • Ratio to Injuries. • Trained Trauma Health Care Providers. • Proper Bed : Nurse ratio. • Properly equipped. • Endorsed Standard Operating Procedures. • Preventive regular equipment maintenance.

  10. Operating Rooms • Well Equipped and Manned • Round the clock Access.

  11. Definitive Care • Specialized care with supportive services. • Round the Clock diagnostic facilities. • Concept of Trauma Vs Orthopedics Surgeons. • Specialized nursing care - ( Wound Care)

  12. Rehabilitation • General physiotherapy • Orthotics and prosthetics • Occupational and speech therapy • Specialized Head and Spinal Units. • Bladder and bowel specialists. • Psychological and social support to victims and family.

  13. Social Re-Integration • Evaluation, re-education and training of rehabilitated victims of RTC. • Re-introduction into the society • Building up of self-esteem and positive expectations. • Facilities for assisted living. • Legislation for employment

Develop handbook on how to advocate for Political Will. 3. Encouraging a pragmatic and a realistic national action Plan on Road Safety. 4. Encourage Regional dialogue and cooperation.
