  3. Travel Prices The family will be getting a day pass for both the bus and Train so they are able to reach there accommodations The train Pass for October 23 and 24 will cost 21 Euros per day and will end at 3 A.M. each morning The Bus pass for October 23 and 24 will cost 26 Euros per day

October 23 (Day One) 12:00Arrive in Frankfurt 12:30 Take bus to lunch at either Estragon**** Maintower Restaurant and Bar (A tower, where you eat at the rotating top floor) or **** Cafe Goetheruh Am Goetheturm (Tallest wooden building in Germany, found in a massive natural garden) (the price is about 50 Euro’s per plate) 14:00 take train to Berlin 17:00 arrive in Berlin 17:15 take the U Stadtmitte/Leipziger Str. 347 to either Checkpoint Charlie (A historical sight that represents the division of Berlin during the Cold War, cost is free), Gendarmenmarkt (Berlin’s most magnificent square, known for its architectural trio), or Museum fur Kommunikation Berlin (The Museum of Communications ideal for children, cost of 3 Euros per person) 18:45 take the bus to dinner 19:00 Dinner at either Oranium (A classical building that welcomes its visitors in syle) or Restaurant Maxwell (Modern-Med inspired cuisine) (Cost of 30 Euros per plate) 20:30 Take the Bayreuther Str. 100 to either KaDeWe (Berlin’s most famous trademark department store), Tiergarten (Berlin’s best known park), or the Story of Berlin (An interactive journey through Berlin’s history, complete with light and sound shows, cost for adults 9,80 Euros for children 6-14 3,50 Euros) 22:00 take the Bus to *** Hotel Wittelsbach am Kurfürstendamm, ***** The Westin Grand Berlin, or the **** Novotel Berlin Mitte (information for these hotels is on the next page)

October 24 (Day Two) 8:00 Breakfast at **** Fernsehturm, **** Funkturm Restaurant ****, or Barcomi's Deli Restaurant (All of which have great service) (the price is about 25 Euros per plate) 9:30 take train S+U AlexanderplatzBhf: S5 to Alexanderplatz (“A modern transit junction and shopping area”, cost is free), Rotes Rathaus (the seat of the Berlin Senate, cost is free), or to Berliner Dom (Berlin’s largest and most important Protestant Church, the cost is 5 Euros per person) 11:30 take the train to (4.5 stars) Restaurant Parioli (Very fancy and formal), *** Grill Royal BmbH (Very casual),or Cafe am See Britzer Garden (Restaurant overlooking a nice garden) (the price is about 30 Euros per plate) 13:00 take train S Unter den Linden: S1 to the Reichstag (Berlin’s Parliament Building, cost is free), Brandenburger Tor (Brandenburg Gate is one of Berlin’s most important monuments, cost is free), or to the Filmmuseum Berlin (“ A full immersion, multimedia experience into German film history, the cost is 6 Euros per person) 15:00 take the bus to dinner at either (4.5 stars) Hackescher Hof, (3.5 stars) YosoyGmb, or  **** Restaurant Schwarzwaldstuben (Each resturant has a cost of 45 Euros per plate) 18:00 Enjoy all the sights of Berlin with the Festival of lights (all of Berlin’s historic monuments are lit up with bright colors, the cost is free) 22:00 take the bus to *** Hotel Wittelsbach am Kurfürstendamm (Price is 318 Euros for 2 nights which includes buffet breakfast, VAT, service charges, city taxes, convienetly located on a quite street in the heart of Berlin) ***** The Westin Grand Berlin (Price for 2 nights is 600 Euros, located on the famous shopping street in the heart of Berlin close to the Brandenburg Gate), or the **** Novotel Berlin Mitte (Price is 398 Euros for 2 nights, located in the Mitte district of Berlin)

  10. October 25 8:00 leave Berlin and arrive in Frankfurt by train 11:00 breakfast at  **** Goodtime (relaxed cafe, good family setting), (4.5 stars) AltesZollhaus (Very, very old restaurant; formal), or (3.5 stars) Restaurant Pasternak 13:00 fly home from Frankfurt
