A few ways to save your laptop battery life will keep you away from worries about whether or not it is going to run out while you are out doing business. Change your Power Settings: Changing your laptop’s built-in power settings is the best way to optimize your laptop’s performance and battery life. Check “Power options” if you are using Windows and in Mac machines, it’s “Energy Saver” which you can find in “System Preferences”. Hold your Screen Brightness and System Settings in Check:

  2. Watch out for your screen brightness! It’s the one that sucks up all the battery power, when your laptop is active. Believe us, this will save hugeon your battery power.

  3. Turn OFF/Unplug Devices When Not in Use: Having your Bluetooth/Wi-Fi turned ON and connecting your laptop to other USB devices will exhaust your laptop’s energy. Remember these devices can eat up battery even when idle. So make sure to turn OFF and unplug unnecessary devices when not in use. Keep Your System Cool: Heating and over-heating issues are the major battery slayers in a laptop. Prolonged usage of overheated laptops may even kill your batter on the long run. So keep your laptops as cool as possible or you can even use external cooling fans for this purpose.
