  5. System Capacity Enhancements As System Capacity for the TDE100/200 /600 and NCP500/1000 communication platform improves, the DSP implications need to be well understood. Notes: 64 IP trunks mean – Max 32 SIP trunks and Max 32 H.323 trunks at the same time. 64 IP Trunks mean – Max 64 SIP Trunks, but only a Max 32 H.323 Trunks. Total 64 IP trunks at any time

Calls between TDM and SIP Trunks • DSP Impact due to improved MPR Hardware • 64 SIP trunks and 32 H.323 trunks (Total remains 64 Channels) • Note: • No improvement for DSP4/16 because DSP limit has been reached • Limitation by DSP64, G.729 requires more DSP resource than G.711.   10. IP-CS to SIP Trunk Communication • Note: • Limit reached due to DSP16 resources. • IP-CS connection does not support P2P connection. Therefore, IP-CS takes one TDM-IP Channel and IP-Trunk also takes one TDM-IP Channel – for one call. One IP-CS to IP-Trunk thus takes two TDM-IP Channels. Maximum no. TDM-IP Channels is thus 113/2=56.5 => 56 IP TDM 64 SIP Trunks 49  113 DSP Trunk: SIP /H.323 Ext: IP-PT/SIP Option Cards LCOT / DHLC BRI / PRI / DLC / SLC IP-CS (Max. 16)
