  2. 3 Year Strategic Plan • Provide more membership activities • To enhance the local membership • To reach out to the local community • To enhance engineering image

  3. Societies Involvement • Majority of the local membership belongs to a technical society. • Start a local Computer Society Chapter • Start a local Power Engineering Chapter

  4. Education • Provide a PE Study Program • Try to start a local IEEE student chapter – St. Ambrose or Augustana Computer programs • Take on more involvement with pre-college activities – FIRST robotics team, science fairs, etc.

  5. Get More Members Involved! • Current Board • Past Chair (non-voting) • Chair • Vice Chair • Treasurer • Secretary • Member-At-Large 1 • Member-At-Large 2 • GOLD AG CHAIR (non-voting)

  6. Society Chapter Chairs (voted in by chapters, Excom voting privileges) Education Committee Chair –pre-college programs and interact with the student chapter. Help maintain the records of members’ attendance for PDH’s be responsible for the PE Program. (EXcom appointed, non-voting rights) PR/Web Master (EXcom appointed, non-voting rights) PACE Committee Chair –Setup half day and all day workshops and PACE Projects. Attend the IEEE USA functions (EXcom appointed, non-voting rights) Membership Committee Chair – help with membership upgrades also serve as the Awards and Recognition Chair to help keep members. (EXcom appointed, non-voting rights) Proposed New Board Positions

  7. What Can You Do? • Be willing to attend the meetings • Talk with coworkers and colleagues about IEEE • Be willing to volunteer • IT IS UP TO YOU TO MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR MEMBERSHIP
