  5. *What is the Leadership Process? Leadership is a process involving group of people in which:  A leaderattempts to influence the other's behavior (followers) toward goals achievement . The followers accept the leader’s role.  A leader can plan, but implementation of plans requires followers who willingly work together through joint efforts. It is Important to mention that : • Not all characteristics are present in each person. • Individual variations are present among persons. • Only a minority of leaders has great talent. • Most people have strength in one or two areas and need help in others. • Leaders are judged to be successful not on their characteristics, but rather on what they achieve . Leadership is a Learned Process or Leaders are Born Not Made To be a good leader you require: A- Good preparation for your role with the expectation that you are capable of becoming effective leader. B-Understanding the individual strengths , weakness and potential ( capacities). C-Acquire knowledge of theories and practices of leadership D- Systematic use of self to get the right things done at the right time. So leadership is a learned process.
