  3. I-95/Route 630 Interchange Status Summary • VDOT will utilize consultants for project development • VDOT will be seeking a consultant contract in the next few months • Significant additional funding will be required • Project will probably be developed inphases

I-95/Route 630 Interchange – additional item General Discussion: • Through 2008 and into early 2009 VDOT will be performing additional studies to refine interchange design concepts and right of way footprint. • An update of the Location Study will follow which will include an the NEPA required Environmental Assessment document and a Public Hearing. • An interchange modification report will also be developed for FHWA approval to assure adequate performance of the design for future year traffic. • It is anticipated these activities will be completed by late 2009 or early 2010.
