  1. We make CPU’s and CPU accessories! ACA Robotics

  2. Decision Process • As a team we weathered the storms of difficulty together and used our sheer genius to create a robot divinely ordained by God. But mainly we discussed different ideas and took a vote.

  3. Company Structure • CEO – Quinn Edmonds • Arm Construction – Greg Dawson and Shiv Patel • Base construction – Quinn Edmonds • Claw construction – Josh Sanders, Brich Barnett, Jake Mizzell • Booth Construction – Lee Abrams and Devin Raymond • Programming Group – Sean Daly and Caleb Isbell • Marketing Department – Ian Allison, Charlie Vicars, Jake Mizzell, Austin Herndon, Kaitlyn Mohlenbrok, and Emily Stanly.

  4. Demographics • 4 Freshman, 1 Sophomore, 9 Juniors, and 2 Seniors. • 13 Males and 3 Females. • 15 Whites and 1 Asian American

  5. Budget • It consisted of school funding, parent volunteers, and personal donations. • We ordered t-shirts and fund raised to pay for them.

  6. Brainstorming Approaches • We used the Engineering process as a basis for all our ideas. • We developed our ideas based on prior knowledge and came up with varying solutions to the challenges presented. Some ideas were ineffective, however, we took the best ideas from each design and incorporated them.

  7. Analytical Evaluations • We used a productivity matrix to determine what factors were the most important to our robot design. • Using the matrix we evaluated the aspects of our robot design that achieved the best results.

  8. Engineering Process • Identify the need – to design a robot that can assemble a CPU. • Research the problem – everyone contributed research. • Develop possible solutions – brainstormed ideas. • Select the most promising solution – we built a matrix to decide what was the most important. • Construct the robot – we assigned different parts of the robots to different team members and each one worked on their respective piece. • Test – we tested our design

  9. Publicity • We designed a website and used it to educate people on what we are doing. • We advocated the fun experiences and the team building skills we gained from robotics. • We reached out to our school about the advantages of joining our robotics team.

  10. Computer Programing • 2 of the team members installed the programs and educated themselves on computer programing in order to program the robot.

  11. Website • We created a website, found at www.acarobotics.com • It contains a plethora of information involving the brainstorming, designing, and building our robot.
