  1. Boise River AccountingReservoir Fill Current accounting. Clarify terminology. Historical reliability of fill. Liz Cresto October 31, 2013

  2. Water Right Accounting Program • It is a tool to help the water master regulate the river. • Calculates and distributes the natural flow available.

  3. Storage Program • Allocates the storage water to spaceholders. • Keeps track of rental pool and storage transfers. • Storage report is run on the “Day of Allocation” and at the end of the irrigation season.

  4. Unique to the Boise If Lucky Peak does not fill due to flood control then 60,000 AF of the Bureau’s streamflow maintenance space becomes last to fill and the irrigators are made whole. If failure to fill due to flood control is greater than the 60,000 AF then Lucky Peak irrigators allocation is proportional to the space owned regardless of previous years carryover.

  5. Historical Reliability of Fill After Flood Control Note: Grayed years are low water years that did not have flood control operations and there was not enough supply to fill the system.

  6. Questions about current accounting?
