One can go to the materials tab from the home page and choose “new” to create a record from scratch. Alternatively, one can choose import (at the materials tab) to import a saved MARC record. How can one delete MARC records in Surpass? One can delete MARC records by going to the “Materials” tab from the homepage. From here, search to find your records and click on “delete”. You will have the option to delete one record or batch of records. Why would one need to know how to correct MARC records in Surpass? Maintaining correct, up to date, MARC records makes it easier for patrons to access materials in the library in a timely manner.
