SMS Group overview The SMS group is, under the roof of SMS Holding GmbH, a group of global players in plant construction and mechanical engineering for the steel and nonferrous metals processing industry. It consists of the Business Areas SMS Siemag, SMS Meer and the industrial participations. As the financial organization, SMS Holding GmbH is responsible for strategic planning and controlling.
