  1. New calibration products releases since last CUC meeting. Chandra Calibration Status HETG ACIS Gain correction files for epochs 33 and 34 were released in CALDB 3.4.5 (June 2008) and 3.5.0 (Sep. 2008). 1. An order separation file (OSIP) for an ACIS operating temperature of T=-110 C was released in CALDB 3.5.0.

  2. New HRC-S Gain Map using SAMPS and LETG/HRC-S Background Filtering

  3. HRC-I Energy Resolution using SAMPS

  4. Updated HRC-S QE Uniformity Map HRC-S QEU Version 3 HRC-S QEU Version 4 Absorbed power-law model fit to Mkn421

  5. Update on ACIS Filter Contamination

  6. ACIS CC-Mode Calibration CC-Mode calibration continues using trap maps appropriate for CC-mode data. This approach does not require any new software. ACIS Flight Grades

  7. HRMA Calibration Projects Plot from the IACHEC Meeting comparing MOS, PN, and ACIS spectral fitting results in the 2-7 keV band for a sample of 7 clusters.

  8. Comparison of ACIS derived temperatures in a broad band, a hard band and from the H-like to He-like Fe K alpha line ratio.

  9. XRCF at MSFC

  10. Empirical XRCF correction HRMA overlayer of 22A Two corrections have been applied to the predictions of the raytrace code since XRCF.

  11. Fits to the continuum source at XRCF with a variable depth for the overlayer on each shell 28A 18A 27A 20A

  12. HRMA Model A

  13. HRMA Model F

  14. The Coma Cluster Model F kT = 8.3 keV

  15. Comparison between ACIS and MOS derived Cluster Temperatures

  16. XMM-Newton – Hard Band vs. Broad Band Temperatures

  17. Cross-Calibration with E0102-72

  18. Cluster Flux and Temperature Comparison

  19. Continue testing HRMA effective area models with in-flight imaging and gratings data. • Adjust the HETG gratings transmission efficiency and the HRC-S QE accordingly. • Validate the in-flight HRMA effective area model with gratings and cluster data. Things to do
