  1. WORD WEDNESDAYS AN INTRODUCTION

  2. Directions • Every Wednesday we will have vocabulary presentations in-class. On your assigned day, you will give a one minute presentation about your word. In your presentation, you will answer the following questions: • What does the word mean? • What part of speech is it? (noun, pronoun, verb, etc)

  3. In addition to answer the above questions, you will be responsible for writing the word in a sentence, coming up with a “trick” to remember the word by, and drawing a picture that represents the word. • This is an opportunity for you to be CREATIVE! The better your “trick” and image, the easier it will be to remember the word. • When you are NOT presenting, you are responsible for recording the words your peers present in your own VOCABULARY notebook. In your VOCABULARY notebook, you will have each vocabulary word with the part of speech, definition, the “trick” and the image.

  4. Where do I find the list? • The vocabulary list is in the back of your book starting on page 317 to 341 • The list is also located on my website with the words numbered(hsamagner@weebly.com) • We will attempt to get through all the words
