The deep valley and high mountains encircling the giant Annapurna Range mingle and blend into a multitude of local cultures, traditions - beliefs from all directions. Langtang Region Starting from the lovely hill town of Syabrubensi our trek winds through beautiful rhododendron and conifer forests through the Langtang National Park on the way to higher slopes. The route then leads up to the high alpine yak pastures, glaciers and moraines around Kyangin. The trail enters rhododendron forest and climbs up to alpine yak pastures at Ngegang (4404 m). From Ngegang we make an assent of Ganja La Pass (5122m). This area is sometimes called Kelaung or Kelchung and can be reached from another series of huts at Dukpu (4023m). Next we head south-west, descending past Gekye Gompa to reach Tarke Ghyang or a detour featuring a trek past the sacred Hindu lakes of Gosainkund (4380 m) crossing into Helambu via the Laurebina Pass (4610 m) to Ghopte (3430 m) and further to Trake Gyang finally terminating your trek at Chisapani.

  4. Mustang Region The region of Tibetan influence north of Kagbeni is generally referred to as Upper Mustang. The ancient Kingdom of Mustang – the capital Lo Manthan was attached to Tibet in the 14th century, Although it retained its identity as an autonomous dynasty throughout the centuries - is a walled city where people still remain predominantly Tibetan. Still somewhat restricted (special permits are required) the trek to Lo Manthan (3730 m) refers to the arid Tibet-like region at the northern end of Kali Gandaki. Annexed by Nepal in 17 century, but untouched by the outside world or the Chinese Cultural revolution, 14th century monasteries still remain active to preserve this magnificent Trans-Himalayan kingdom, with their unrivalled Buddhist shrines with cliff hanging monasteries, thankas, mandalas and deities and cave dwelling people.

  5. TIBET TREKKING This trek takes you as close to the summit of Everest as any non-climber can go. This adventure, the highest trek in the world, is an incredible journey to camp 3 and the base of the North Col via the East Rongbuk Glacier. Nowhere else on this planet can you hike on trail to such a high elevation by simple trekking.
