  3. Dress Code Rules Prom Dress Code is on page 26 of the NSHS Student Handbook All dresses should be either long or just above the knee with appropriate coverage on both front and back. If you have any questions , just take a photo of dress and ask one of our administrators. Gentlemen….. Tuxedos, dress suits, or sport coats with dress pants, dress shoes and a tie are appropriate. No sneakers, ball caps or hats allowed. (Per Uwharrie Point dress code)

Ticket Prices are as follows: NSHS Seniors – free *All School and Senior fees must paid-in-full NSHS Juniors - $35.00 All Other Guests- $40.00 Tickets go on sale after Spring Break and may be purchased before school or during lunch. Tickets may be paid for in two installment payments or in one payment. Tickets are non-refundable. All Seniors must sign up and get a ticket if planning on attending. Note – If you are planning on bringing an outside guest (including NSHS sophomores or students outside NSHS) you must fill out a guest form. All guests must be approved by administration before purchasing their ticket.

  5. Questions & Answers Q: How soon can I purchase a ticket? A: After Spring Break, starting April 8, 2013 Q: Can I make payments when buying my ticket? A: Yes, you may split the payment in two payments before the last date of ticket sales. Q: When is the last day of ticket sales? A: Tickets may be purchased through May 2nd , 2013 by 1:30 pm. Q: What if I change my mind and do not want to go the prom after buying a ticket? A: There are NO Refunds on tickets. Q: When and where do I purchase my tickets? A: You may purchase tickets before school or during lunch either through Mrs. Davis or the front office. Q: Will I get an actual ticket to show at the door at the prom? A: Yes, you will need to show your ticket at the door and a picture ID.

  6. Q: I am a senior, do I still need a ticket to get in since my ticket is free? A: Yes, as a senior you still need to sign up and show your ticket at the door. Q: Do we need a parking pass? A: Yes, you will be given a parking pass to put on the dash of your car to be admitted through the gate. Q: Do I need to fill out a guest request form? A: Yes, and it must be turned in no later than April 30, 2013 to be approved. Q: Does every guest get approved for the prom? A: There are guidelines on who m you may invite. No freshmen are allowed at the prom. Guest must not be over 21 years of age, and must have a clean criminal record. All guest must be approved before purchasing a ticket for them. Q: Will there be a photographer at the prom to take pictures? A.: Yes, there will be a photographer there. All pictures must be paid for on site before the picture is taken. Pick up a form in the front office.

  7. Q: Should I schedule an appointment time for pictures? A: No, it is walk in only. Q: What time can I arrive at the prom? A: Prom starts at 8:00pm and ends at midnight. Q: Can I bring my own camera to prom? A: Yes, but you are responsible for keeping up with it. Q: Will there be security officers at the prom? A: Yes, there will be several officers at the prom . Once you enter the prom, you must stay inside. If , for any reason you need to go to your vehicle , an officer will escort you. Q: Will there be chaperons at the prom? A: Yes, there will be a large number of chaperons at the prom , including all of NSHS Administration. Q: What if I have more questions? A: If you have more questions, please see one of our administrators.
