  2. GHG Reduction Plan Purpose: To reduce GHG emissions and offer a comfortable, healthy work environment. Scope: Investigate the facilities of Dynapack and improve its efficiency to reduce the GHG emission. Target: Reduce CO2e 1.29% of current emission in 2010 improvement activities. In 2010 inventory, Dynapack have9797.40 tonnes CO2e/Year. Page2

  3. GHG Reduction Plan Plan: Jan~Dec’10 1. Utilize Car Pool - To Reduce Car Traveling between Dynapack sites and suppliers’ site. 2. Reduce Lights Usage - Illumination improvement and then reduce the lights and light starters to save electricity usage. 3. Add frequency conversion air compressor - Add frequency conversion air compressorand save electricity usage. 4. Power reduction - The improvement of ventilation system. 5.Water reduction - Rebuild bathroom faucet Page3

  4. Identify the Concept of Scope Scope 1: Direct GHG emissions occur from sources that are owned or controlled by the company, for example, emissions form combustion in owned or controlled boilers, furnaces, vehicles, etc.; emissions from chemical production in owned or controlled process equipment. Scope 2: GHG emissions from the generation of purchased electricity consumed by the company. Purchased electricity is defined as electricity that is purchased or otherwise brought into the organizational boundary of the company. Page4

  6. Plan-1:Utilize Car Pool to Reduce Car Traveling - Reduce 72.925 tonnes CO2e/year Note:2.63kg CO2e/L of diesel 2.3 kg CO2e/L of gasoline Page6

  7. Plan-2:Reduce Lights Usage - Reduction: 2.919 tonnes CO2e/year Result: Note: 0.997 kg CO2e/KWh, Taiwan Power Corporation, www.taipower.com.tw Page7

  8. Plan-3:Add frequency conversion air compressor - reduce 15.808 tonnes CO2e/year Note: 0.997 kg CO2e/KWh Page8

  9. Plan-4:Power reduction - reduce 34.423 tonnes CO2e/year Note: 0.997 kg CO2e/KWh, Taiwan Power Corporation, www.taipower.com.tw Page9

  10. Plan-5:Water reduction - reduce 0.339 tonnes CO2e/year Note: Reduced 0.194 kg CO2e / tonne water Page10

  12. Summary and Future Plan • 2010 GHG Reduction Result: • Reduced 1.29% (126.414 tonnes/9797.40 tonnes) CO2e through 2009 improvement activities. • Future Plan: • 1% emission reduction per year. • a. Power reduction. (Reduce overtime, lighting) • b. Fuel usage reduction. (Transportation reduction due to overtime reduction) Page12
