X-TECHNOLOGIES • X-TECHNOLOGIES is a unit of Ecole Polytechnique under the control of the Vice-President for Research • Projects are selected and monitored by a Selection Committee • Created in september 1992 with the support of the Conseil Régional d’Ile-de-France and the Conseil Général de l’Essonne

X-TECH MISSIONS • X-TECHNOLOGIES is a technological center open to young doctorates and post-doctorates, and which aims at the industrial and commercial exploitation of the research results by hosting and assisting newly created high technology enterprises. By means of: • hosting: • Research-Industry "mixed teams". • Start-up created by post-docs or researchers, in collaboration with a laboratory • Promoting and participating in entrepreneurship education programs

OBJECTIFS DE L’IPHE • Focaliser l’ensemble des compétences liées à la création d’entreprises technologiques • Organiser un moteur du développement local • Proposer un équipement à forte lisibilité nationale et européenne • Mobiliser les ressources locales de recherche au profit des créateurs d’entreprises • Évoluer vers un guichet unique de la création d’entreprises 4

LES PARTENAIRES DE LA CAPS • L’IPHE a été initié par un Comité de Pilotage composé de : - l’École Polytechnique - Thales - l’ONERA - l’Institut d’Optique - la CAPS Ce groupe a vocation a s’élargir aux structures qui s’installeront sur le campus • Un comité d’agrément réunira l’ensemble des partenaires économiques et scientifiques locaux pour : - Analyser la qualité des projets d’entreprises - Assurer le suivi de ces projets au sein de l’IPHE - Mobiliser les ressources technologiques et de recherche nécessaires - Observer le devenir des entreprises en sortie de l’IPHE 5

CONTENU DU PROGRAMME • 8.400 m2 d’espaces des entreprises pour une construction de 11.000 m2 SHON environ • Des performances techniques ciblées, définissant des zones dans le bâtiment (incubateur, pépinière, hôtel) • Une évolutivité-flexibilité basée sur les surfaces unitaires définies pour les entreprises (15 et 30 m2) • La nécessité d’un terrain intégré au plateau, d’1,5 hectare, avec une extension possible d’1 hectare 13
