Choose a Domain • This is the first stage of creating a website in WordPress. • Here you need to choose the domain name smartly as it would have bearing on SEO and brand recognition. • Try sticking to your name or that of your business or institution that people identify with. • You need to choose among a range of TLDs or top-level domain that include .com, or exclusive ones such as .info, .edu and .org, or country specific ones such as .co.uk or .in
