Reading Rocks Instructions • You can be a Ram Reading Challenge Reading Rock Star • by reading 16 books during the 2012-2013 school year! • Fill out your First and Last Name, your Homeroom Teacher and Language Arts Teacher, and Grade on the other side of this page. • Read 1 book from the genres shown on the opposite page. Realistic Fiction, Mystery, Historical Fiction, Adventure, Science Fiction/Fantasy, Georgia Book Award, Social Studies Novel, Science Novel and YOUR CHOICE. • Read an additional 5 NON-FICTION books from these categories: 000-100 Generalities -Philosophy & Psychology, - 200-300 Religion – Social Science - 500-600, Natural Science/Math-Technology, 800-900 Literature/Poetry – Geography/History. • 4. Write down the title of the book in the appropriate genre square. Also the category number and title of the Non-Fiction books. • 5. Read only books that we have in our Couch Media Center. • For each book read, get a Parent or Teacher signature. BOOKS READ IN CLASS WILL REQUIRE • TEACHER’S SIGNATURE UPON COMPLETION OF THE NOVEL REQUIREMENTS. • 7. Read all 16 books and you will be a READING ROCK STAR!
