  2. Number of Days • I worked 22 days at Ajia, for 6 hours eachday. I worked a total of 132 hours

  3. Ajia • 1) Ajia is a prefab, Carpentry place. What they offer is framing, shipping pre-made parts and wood staining. 2) There are 9 Employees at Ajia, 2 of them are the Prefabers/ Carpenters, 1 of them does all the touch ups and packaging with the help of me and or other workers, 2 of the workers stain wood, and 4 of workers there do the papers and computer work. 3) Ajia doesn’t have one person they sell too, they ship their products all across the states, pretty much everywhere. 4) They have no competitors. 5)

  4. My duties at Ajia • What jobs I did at Ajia, was Stain wood, packaged huge bundles of wood, framed housing side, using a nail gun andsometimes clean up.

  5. New Skills I learned • I learned how to use a measuring tape, although I wasn’t to good with the numbers. I learned how to use a nail gun, I learned how to bundle and package for the first time, I learned how to use a table saw and an over hand saw.

  6. Personal Evaluation • Personally I think I did very good at this work placement. I didn’t hesitate to do any of the hard jobs. If I was the employer id give myself an A+

  7. First Day • My first day on the job I was kind of nervous, when I entered the work placement but right when I got introduced to all the workers it was all good, everyone was really nice and super helpful. If I didn’t know how to do something I could ask anyone, and they would give me a quick tip on how to do it.

  8. Best Day • The best day at my work was probably when I framed all day, it was really fun because I like using the heavy duty tool. working with all the professional carpenters was a fun experience too.

  9. Worst day? • Naaaaaaaahdude.

  10. Funniest thing at my work • When I ate so much Deep Fried Shrimps that I had to puke.

  11. Finish Sentence • I am proud of myself because I learned so much I could improve on my measuring The person I admire the most at my work was David, because he taught me so much.

  12. Ajia • I think this job made me want to have a career in Carpentry way more, I really enjoy working with my hands and using my knowledge to build things.

  13. What would I do different • I wouldn’t do anything different, I am proud of what I have done.

  14. What surprised me • What surprised me about the company was how nice everyone was. I felt like I was at home with these people. Also the back ground of most of the workers. Most of them were all ex military.

  15. If I had to do this again • Yes I would want to do this placement again, I really enjoyed myself when I worked at Ajia. I learned so many new things about Carpentry.

  16. Work Challenges • I had problems getting to work on time, I delt with that by waking up earlier. Measurement, I delt with that by asking for help and trying to do my best.

  17. Changes for the company • I wouldn’t suggest any changes. The company has a really good work system set up for kids in the ACE program.

  18. Education for this Job • Math, I don’t think you need anything else. Most Carpenters are self employed.

  19. Pay range for Carpenters • 14 to 30 bucks an hour for people starting.30 to 60 for experienced people.
