  2. How to help your 7th grader It is imperative that you monitor your student’s progress in math. If your student begins to struggle or fall behind, please consider the following: Work with them at home! Ask to see their homework each night. Check agendas and Infinite Campus at least weekly. Each math teacher has one tutoring day per week. Utilize this time, it’s free! Encourage your students to be self-advocates. Teachers cannot address issues they do not know about.

  3. Math Steps At Home:(for students and parents) • Check notes and examples** • Use textbook • Use of websites listed for Math • Use family members or friends • Library has textbooks/videos to checkout • Used books (Amazon.com, Bookmans, i.e.) • ** Check Mrs. Malay’s and Ms. Crocco’s website

  4. Standards Check the CUSD or Az. Department of Education website for the current standards and what is expected for each grade level: http://www.mychandlerschools.org/Page/31389 http://www.azed.gov/standards-practices/ http://www.parcconline.org
