  1. REEIS Measuring Results Research, Education, and Economics Information System (REEIS) Status of Education Data in REEIS FAEIS Panel of Experts Meeting June 23-24, 2005

  2. FAEIS Data (Texas A&M) • Enrollment and Degrees Awarded, 1993-2000, by gender, ethnicity, level of study, and CIP • Classification of Instructional Program (CIP) - 1990 • Gender • Ethnicity • Level of Study • Program Area Code • Extensive work was performed to clean-up unknown values and to provide clarity of the presented data. • Reports and formats were redesigned and are currently available at the REEIS website – http://www.reeis.usda.gov

  3. NSF/SED Data • Original data set received contained data from 1984-1999. • A discrepancy existed between fiscal year and calendar year, and extensive work was performed to rectify. • Data is currently being reloaded, and when final, will contain data from FY 1995 thru FY 2003. • Data should be public by August, 2005. Subsequent data will be added as acquired, yearly.

  4. IPEDS Data • Current IPEDS data (degrees awarded) was removed from REEIS due to data discrepancies. • No near-term plan to bring IPEDS data into REEIS. • Potentially, if data is acquired, could be available in REEIS late 2006, early 2007.
