  1. Heat Treating – You Get What You Pay For! Dura Hub Assembly 295-513017 (BCA 513017K) Typical Chinese Hub Assembly No Heat Treatment – Soft metal will deform and fail. Precise Heat Treatment – Ensures long term durability and quality Studs Meet or Exceed SAE/ASTM Standards - Ensures quality and strength Low Quality Studs- No supplier mark Induction hardening is a surface heat-treating process.  A ferrous metal work piece (from medium to high-carbon content) is heated by means of a high frequency electromagnetic field.  The heated work piece is then quickly quenched to produce a hardened structure.

  2. Manufacturing Process: Quality Control • QC and Testing (onsite): • Bearing Life Testing – Predicts the relative bearing life. • Friction & Torsion Testing - Determination of bearing rigidity and strength. • Salt & Mud Simulation Testing – Tests the Bearing seal. • Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE J2530) • Impact Simulation Test – Evaluates impact properties of the Hub Assembly. • Radial Tensional Test – Tests cornering force by applying a radial load. • Factory Inspection of: • Metallurgical composition • Length and Roundness Measurement • Profile Parallelism • Taper Measurement
