Three Sisters Design Considerations • Over the last 2 years, many designs were considered, and eliminated: • A bridge would be required to maintain and construct a single weir. • Each waterway has a different elevation and flow rate. • The stilling basin before the culverts under I-95 attenuates and reduces water velocities. • The proposed design has been permitted by the SJRWMD. • A new design would require withdrawal of the PDM Grant application. • With new design elevations, the new permit would require stormwater and groundwater modeling.
