Colour – mainly red and black with writing in white Different eye colours – could be indicating there will be different perspectives or people are going to change from human to a non human; become different, not act like a human. Props – person is wearing a mask suggesting something disturbing is going to happen within the film Title – bold capital letters and the white stands out against the black and red. Abstract piece behind the title Colour scheme - white, black but majority is red. Linking to danger and blood. The mask – is a lack of humanity. You are unable to see the mouth or nose, only the eyes, not showing many human features. Film company logo Credit block

  3. Main character Name big and in capital letters as he is a famous actor so when people look at this poster, they will recognise the name. Dark night/atmosphere - this makes the poster scary and is a code for horror movies Bright blue eyes stand out against his bright white pupils Stern facial expression, very serious and also frightened Someone behind him indicating the genre and already setting the scary scene and the person links in with the tag line ‘FEAR HER CURSE’ Colour scheme – blue and black, very dark Clothing = dark, fitting in with the colour scheme Film title – capital letters, bold and bright, very eye catching against his black clothing Tag line – ‘fear’ and ‘curse’ suggest the genre Credit block Film company logo

  4. Comment – positive feedback about the film The fact that The Mirror said ‘don’t watch it alone highlights the genre of horror. Stars – newspapers rating the film. Main character – his name is in capitals to catch people’s attention as he is a well known actor. Image – the picture for the DVD cover is more zoomed in than the poster. Letting you know it is a DVD Tag Line Age certificate – no one under the age of 12 is recommended to watch this
