  4. What do we do?

  5. We help people with a learning disability get access and use mental health services when they need to

  6. Why do we do it?

  7. Because people with Learning disabilities get mental health problems to Because in the past people with Learning disabilities have been excluded from mental health services.

  8. The Green Light Toolkit shows us what good services should look like • It has a checklist for people to use. This helps us decide what to do to make services better

  9. How do we do it?

  10. Joint working with mental health and learning disability services • Teaching and training for Staff

  11. Accessible writing projects Working face to face with service users and carers

  12. Who gets the support?

  13. People with Learning Disabilities who have mental health problems Any staff who need help to give a good service to someone with a learning disability

  14. Discussion Any questions?

  15. What we would like the Board to do

  16. Have a better understanding of the work our team does • Have a chance to talk about how people have got on when using mental health services
