  5. Day 2- “Combine and Create” Using our word part for the week, build and define new word. Some prefixes and suffixes are provided for you in the above table.

Day 3 – In Real Life “Read and Reason” The 6th Amendment Right to Trial by Jury Clause reads like this:"In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a... trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law.“ According to the 6th Amendment, define the word prosecution. Record your definition.

Day 4 – Extend and Explore - Limericks Create 5 poems/limericks of your own Put each poem on a separate note card (with your name and period) On the back of each card, put the word’s dictionary definition. One note card will be randomly selected for grading purposes. Follow directions – it might be for a separate grade!!
