Objectives • Meet UEI direction in AFI 90-201, The Air Force Inspection System, GM-3 dated 13 February 2013, which defines the Continual Evaluation Phase • A10.2.2.1. “Purpose…validate and verify a unit’s CCIP for accuracy and adequacy…provide the appropriate commander an independent assessment of the unit’s resource management, leadership, process improvement efforts and ability to execute the mission…” • Program that provides MAJCOM/CC an accurate view of effectiveness of each wing • Documents data collected for entire 24 month Continual Evaluation Phase for inclusion into capstone UEI report

Continual Evaluation Phase Components • On-Site Visits validate & verify (val/ver) the wing CCIP &/or assess portions of the four major graded areas (managing resources, leading people, improving the unit, and executing the mission) • Typically consist of 2-10 MAJCOM IG inspectors • May be no-notice, limited notice or scheduled • Typically lasts 1-3 days • On-Site Visits may include but are not limited to: • Wing Inspection Team (WIT)-led evaluations & inspections • Real world operations • MICT validations • IG interviews • Command Interest Items & Special Interest Items

Continual Evaluation Phase Components • Virtual-Site Visits • Remotely val/ver the wing CCIP &/or assess portions of the four major graded areas • Uses all available data sources to include but not limited to WIT reports, MICT reviews, FAM inputs, Health of Wing meetings, NSI reports & Major Exercise reports • Are no-notice and the unit will not normally be notified nor aware it is taking place • Continual evaluation consolidation • Synthesizes data collected during the continual evaluation phase – these are the pages of the photo album • Completed prior to the on-site capstone
