General information about university in Germany WHAT YOU NEED: • higher education entrance qualification • foreign language competence (at least B2) • practical training (for some study paths) THE LENGTH: • from 6-12 semesters (usually 8) • one semester takes 6 months Johannes Gutenberg university in Mainz

Study path: international Business Management SEMESTER: • from the second semester attendance at lectures to the special field (have to choose 3 of 9 fields) • 5th semester temporary employment abroad • in the 6th semester closing operation (Bachelor) • 7th and 8th semester 13 main modules • 10th semester practical training • end: Master • english focus point EXAMPLE: financial management, media management, international trade for the fields you had to choose foreign economics, logistics, marketing culture and job market analysing, economics of Instututions, Strategy and Management, Controlling international companies

Machanical Engeneering in Germany THE STUDY PATH: • basics (to the 4th semester): mathematics, physics, electrical engeneering, chemistry • BACHELOR • semester 5-7: mechanism, thermodynamics, design, raw material, manufacturing engeneering, buisness economics, IT • MASTER (10th/11th semester) specialization: automotive engeneering, mechatronics, manufacturing engeneering FOREIGN LANGUAGE COMPULSORY
