  6. 2. Project Management Deliverables • 1 FINAL Report due 10th March 2013 • Guidance on reporting Impact • Guidance on how to complete the Final Report • Evaluating Course Data Projects

  7. Final Report • When compiling your report(s): • Keep your audience in mind at all times – do not fall into the trap of assuming that your audience is an expert on: • acronyms • your institution • technical detail • your domain/activity/subject area etc. • Audience of Final Report = HE/FE institutions, the wider community and Jisc, not just Jisc

  8. Final Report • Avoid too much detail on project management activities - • Only expand if there are lessons learnt • Consider what would be useful to other institutions who are considering undertaking a similar piece of work and hoping to learn from your work. • Share the lessons you have learned. What went well and what didn’t, and why – what were the contributory factors? • What has your project found/achieved/demonstrated? This is particularly important for your sections covering methodology, implementation, conclusions, implications and recommendations.

  9. Final Report • ALL your deliverables should be on your project web site (which needs to be sustained until March 2016), and that all deliverables should be referenced somewhere within your final report. • If you find a section is getting very too long consider writing it up as a separate paper deliverable, then reference it - eg report on user needs in the area of xyz. • Add extra headings/sections to your final report if this will help the flow of your final report. • Avoid repetition – add reference to other parts of document

  10. 2. Project Management Deliverables • 2 Budget Spreadsheet The purpose of budget spreadsheet is to ensure public funds were spent appropriately and according to the agreed contract. These will not be shared publicly. They are FOI’able but personal data will be redacted

  11. 2. Project Management Deliverables • 3 Project Closure Survey • The purpose of this survey is to gather data for the programme evaluation and to offer an opportunity for candid reflection on the project and programme to be shared with just Jisc. • Replaces the old Jisc Completion Report  • An online report, using a survey tool • Lightweight for projects to complete and provide usable structured data for Jisc for evaluation and analysis • Data Protection Statement • Jisc will use the information you provide for the purpose of evaluation and project closure. Your details will not be sold, rented to or shared with any other organisation but may be shared with all sections of Jisc, including projects and services. The Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) is the recognised data controller for data processed by JISC. As you have provided personal information, we need your to consent to process this data. By submitting this form you are agreeing to us processing this data as described above
