The Background • Current Campus Designed for Max Capacity of 1200 students • We are now c.1150 & growing • Campus Master Plan - completed 2008 • Find it on InsideASH>Search “Campus Master Plan” • Historically 5 small locations in & around The Hague • New Campus 20 years ago • MS “temporary” wing added 15 years ago • New ES Wing in 2003 • Purchased Land from Municiapality of Wassenaar for ECC • Boerderij (farm) Ter Weer (area name) • Located on small Deijlerweg, 5/7 minutes walk • Construction commenced early 2102

The Background • The key parties in the negotiations: • Municapality of Wassenaar – owned the land & • farmhouse “Boerderij Ter Weer” • SJW Youth Club had clubhouse in the Farmhouse - were already being re-located by Gemeente • Olympia ‘72 Handball Club will share sports facilities • ASH – now own land & buildings

The Planning • Ground cleared & prepared late 2011/ early 2012 • Groundbreaking Ceremony took place 16th February 2012 • Handball fields complete (for new handball season) • Construction drawings & foundation work completed over the summer - passed a key risk phase • Sport complex and Gym due for completion • end of December 2012 • Main ECC instructional areas doe for • completion July 2013. • Currently on schedule – weather permitting • Now: Fixtures & Fittings & Landcaping
