Need management support to sustain changes from improvement efforts Standardizes across cells and across Division to reduce variation Highlights gaps – where something didn’t get done Supports Lean by showing that leadership will do it as well Puts highest level of focus on processes – leadership’s primary responsibility is to ensure processes are performing as expected, and results will follow Our goal – account for about 50% of Cell Manager’s time, lower percentages for upper management Leader Standard Work
