  3. Classified Ads • Advertisements in a newspaper are typically short. • Classified ads can be used to buy or sell items. • Any person can pay to advertise in a newspaper. • People can also look for a job in this section.

Classified ads • For sale-when a person had an item to sell. • Wanted- When people need a specific item they can ask if anyone has one to sell. • Services- when a person is advertising the work they do. Example a painter, plumber, babysitter. • Employment-when a business has a job available. When a family needs a babysitter.
